The greenhouse is overflowing with happy neem trees. We've cut them back so they're exceptionally bushy. These are two-year-old trees about 2 feet tall growing in 12" deep pots so they have gorgeous root systems too.
GROWING TIPS: Soil should always be a premium potting mix -- not topsoil -- without any "water managing" properties. Fertilizer should be balanced with the three numbers in big print somewhat equal. For instance, chemical fertilizers are usually available in a 20-20-20 formula. You may need to mix and match with organics, balancing fish emulsion with bone meal and kelp.
For more information, read the "growing neem" directions in our article section.
This is not Sweet Neem, we are not allowed to sell sweet neem because it is a vector for a disease that kills citrus trees.
We ship living plants on Mondays and Tuesdays so they don't spend the weekend in a box. If you need it more quickly, please be sure to make a note in the comment section.
It’s that time of year again, and temperatures are dropping across the country. We’ll continue shipping in warm areas, but we will have to stop shipping to places where temperatures are below freezing. We also must limit shipping to states west of the Mississippi River because most of those shipments seem to go through the Chicago airport where they appear to spend the night outside in a truck. We’ll check temperatures here and stop shipping when the low drops below 30 degrees. Orders paid through Google and Amazon will automatically be cancelled because they expect all products to ship within seven days. If you’d like to place the order for shipment when possible, please include a note in the comment section of the order form.
