Spineless Nopal

We started growing this spineless nopal at a customer's request. It's not quite thornless, so you still need to handle it carefully, but it's got little prickles not inch-long spikes. It grows vigorously and thrives in both dry and wet conditions. We're told it has the same taste and blooms as its more dangerous cousin. (Each pad weighs about a pound, so shipping costs will be higher than you might expect.)
