Last chance for neem seeds and July specials!

 In General

It seems like yesterday that I was worrying about frost damage and now I watching neem seeds sprout :)

This year’s crop is the fastest sprouting seeds we’ve had in years. Maybe it had something to do with all the rain, but they popped their little heads out of the ground in less than week. They’re not quite ready to sell, but this your last weekend to buy fresh neem seeds. We’ll plant whatever we have left on Tuesday so we’ll have lots of sprouts in about a month and seedlings for next year.

And for local folks, this weekend will be the only time you can stop by and pick up seeds rather than having us put them in the mail – which somehow seems to affect germination rates. It’s open greenhouse and yarden from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at 602 Ronele Drive, Brandon, 33511. We’ll have lots of neem trees and products for sale – plus tons of free plants from the front yard and a very limited number of rare plants like Rangoon creeper, peanut butter tree and moringa seeds. (Visit this page for the complete list.)

August Specials!

And the first weekend of the month means we always overlap specials!

One special we’ll continue because we got such a great response: our clinically proven neem leaf cream. Post a review and we’ll send you a coupon for half off your next purchase, because we think you’ll be addicted.

Speaking of additive, we’ve gotten a lot of calls looking for OxiNeem or DentaBootoothpaste vs toothpowderst. We were giving them away free because a large company had ordered pallets-worth and the government shut them down for making claims. They gave them back to us, so we shared them with you. Our neem bark toothpowder is actually the second iteration of that product – we added diamontaceious earth for its bio-available calcium and other minerals. I’ve always had sensitive teeth and I like it even more. (Learn more about abrasive substances and your teeth in this blog.)

And finally, just in time for outside Labor Day activities, we’ll put the Anti-Itch Products back on sale. We have a couple of new employees in the greenhouse and yarden – they were pretty funny when I told them this worked better than commercial products but they’re addicts now! (It’s great for itchy dogs too, particularly the salve stick that lets you get a thin layer exactly where you need it!)

This weekend only is your last chance for July specials:

neem soapAll soap – including our brand-new papaya soap that works like a gentle chemical exfoliant – is on sale. Stock up now because we won’t put it back on sale until December!

One of my personal favorite products is our neem oil conditioner. I leave it in my hair if I know I’m going to be outside in the sun (particularly at the beach) and it actually gives me more body than if I hadn’t done anything to it. The dogs adore it – we keep in on our patio table, if I see a ding or rash on them, I put some in my hand and pretend I’m loving them. It smells great and it soaks in so fast that it doesn’t make a mess.

And the Winner is:

And the quote of the month (speaking of neem leaf cream!) from Sonia M. who ordered four jars while they were one sale!

“Wow, just an amazing product that cleared up the age spots on my face. I had tried other expensive products and none did the job in as little as the second day I was seeing the results in my face. The second day I put on the cream I was able to see the hydrating effect of putting on the neem cream the previous day and night. I love the product and will continue to buy it and use it as well as promoted. Thank you for offering us all wonderful healing product.”

Thanks Sonia – have a wonderful August and hopefully it won’t go as fast as June and July!
