Description
We’ve gotten dozens of requests for neem bath tea since Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary recommended it on the Dr. Oz show. We used to make it but we never could keep enough of the scent everyone wanted in stock, so we started sharing our recipe instead.
You’ll need about a 1/2 cup each of whole dry neem leaf and oatmeal, then add your favorite scent, either as fresh or dried flowers. Some of our favorites include lavender flowers, rose petals and citrus flakes. Mix them together well, then put them in the bottom of a clean knee-high stocking.
Fill the bathtub with water as hot as you can get it and put the knee-high in the water. Wait about 10 minutes, or until it’s cool enough to be comfortable, then soak for at least 10 minutes. You can use your homemade teabag as an exfoliator too — just rub your arms and legs with it. It’s safe for your face as well, as long as you rub gently.
