We’ve been formulating neem products – with help from experts – for nearly 30 years. Of course, we’re proud of all of them but the Six-Way Neem Capsules may be our most important achievement to date.
No other capsule in the world provides the concentrated level of active ingredients found in both the leaf and the bark. Even discounting the value of the bark, no other capsule contains more supercritical extracts, not to mention the water-based extracts and the raw materials.
So what does that mean for you?
The challenge with neem is that it contains more than 200 active compounds in everything from its fruit and seeds to flowers, leaves and bark. Scientists can identify the actions of some of those compounds, but not all of them; and they can tell you the best way to extract some but not all of those compounds. Some of those compounds are concentrated in the leaf, while others are more likely to be found in neem bark. That leaves consumers (and manufacturers) in a somewhat confusing spot.
The Six-Way Capsules were formulated to address that confusion. Supercritical extracts use carbon dioxide under high pressure to extract active ingredients, concentrating them so effectively that it takes 50 pounds of neem to produce one pound of supercritical extract.
Water-based neem extracts – also called hydrophilic extracts – draw on centuries of healers creating teas. Even then, they knew that extracting an herb in water made it more effective because active ingredients were available as soon as they were ingested.
And just in case we missed something with two extraction processes, the Six-Way Capsules also include raw neem and bark.
