When we first decided to formulate Six-Way Neem Capsules, we weren’t 100% sure of the market. They’d be among the most expensive neem capsules available. BUT they would have supercritical extracts at levels comparable to the more expensive Organix TheraNeem supercritical caps. AND they’d have neem bark which is used less often but is much more effective in some situations.
It turned out to be one of the smartest decisions we’ve ever made. We sold a good number the first year we had them, but then the Six-Way Neem Capsules turned out to be our single top-selling product its second year because of the repeat buyers.
And since those repeat buyers were nearly always buying two or three bottles, we figured out a way to double the number of capsules in the bottle – but only increase the price by 50% (and save the world from more plastic!)
Why is Six-Way Important?
We’ve followed the international research on neem and its medicinal uses for more than 20 years, first in hard-copy journals and now on internet databases, specifically the library at the National Intitutes of Health (www.pubmed.com) which now includes more than 1,300 reports on neem. Scientists have identified some of the compounds and their impact, but much, much more work needs to be done.
A few specific compounds — most notably nimbolide — have been matched to effectiveness in clinical settings, but most of the 100+ compounds have not been tied to any issue. At the same time, researchers are using different methods of extraction. Some compounds are more effectively extracted in alcohol or water — others work best with supercritical extraction.
Creating a six-way neem capsule allows for the best bioaviality of the multiple compounds rather than using just one part of the plant and one extraction method.
Yes, They’re More Expensive…
But they’re significantly more effective. One of our competitors (neem is a pretty friendly industry) had been giving her mother another brand of supercritical leaf to for her tummy troubles. It helped, but we persuaded her to try the Six-Way instead, and “she got MUCH better results,” my friend reports. *
Another friend takes them for discomfort caused by an old skiing accident and has practically stopped taking prescription meds. *
In another case, a dog who was so crippled his owners were thinking about putting him to sleep was back on his feet in two weeks – even though he’d been taking the standard neem leaf capsules prior to that. *
We honestly think it’s the neem bark, which isn’t available in any other encapsulated form. We rescue mainly senior Shar-Pei – the wrinkled Chinese dogs known for their ear, eye and skin conditions – and see amazing results in terms of mobility and boosted immune system – plus a minimum of the ear and skin issues you’d expect in this breed. *
Try Them, You’ll Like Them
One of the things we like most about selling neem is that it’s an extremely inexpensive option for most people. We can honestly say if you buy a bottle of neem capsules (or a jar of toothpowder, or stick of neem salve), it will work before you finish it or it won’t help. At $44, it’s a little more difficult to convince people than asking them to spend less than $20.
From the very beginning, we’ve offered a money-back guarantee to people who didn’t think the Six-Way Neem Capsules were a good investment in their heath. We’re delighted to say that we haven’t been asked to refund a single bottle. The offer stands though — and they won’t go to waste. Most of our senior dogs are on them because we can very clearly see the difference in their health. Whatever (if it ever happens) gets sent back will be used for them.
