It’s that time of year again. We’ll be trimming back neem trees so they have a chance to have new growth before they slow down for the winter. That means we’ll be doing BOGOs on fresh leaf, chew sticks and ceremonial branches for a limited time while we’re topping the trees.
We went all winter last year without any significant cold so they’re pretty big this year – some are well over 40 feet tall. Cutting them back now encourages new growth – if we don’t trim them, the leaves get old and aren’t as pretty for the winter and early spring.
In Florida, we’re moving into our prime growing season so if you’re nearby, be sure to mark Open Gardens for Oct. 5 on your calendar. We’ll have more seeds and plants than ever, plus cuttings from a pretty cool selection of plants that attract hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. (Check out the complete list here.)
And don’t forget September specials including BOGOs on our best-selling products!
