Farmers, almost by definition, are optimists but this year on our Florida farm is really paying off. Three warm winters in a row mean our trees are bursting with fresh leaf and chew sticks, and the greenhouse is overflowing with happy neem trees.
Neem sprouts, which are barefoot plants about 6 to 10 inches tall, are shipping now. These are very limited by time because they have to be at least six inches tall to survive the trip but if they get too tall, they need to be shipped in a pot to handle the extra growth.
Then, our year-old seedlings are leaping out of their pots with the hot rainy weather we’ve had this summer. They can only be shipped in packages of two because they’re so large — that’s a black yardstick coming out of those plants, so they’re easily three feet tall.
And we’re still harvesting fresh neem seeds, also for a limited time. We still have
plenty of fresh moringa seeds available at no charge when you place any order — thanks Steve and Jerry for their generosity!
